Peter Thoma is a co-founder of Toronto-based urbanMetrics. For the past 25 years, he has provided market-based planning advise to municipal clients and private sector land interests across Canada. Peter has a broad range of professional experience that includes residential, industrial, commercial, institutional and recreational -type assets. His clients include: Oxford Properties, Sidewalk Labs, the City of Brampton and the Province of Ontario. He started his consulting practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a member of the Canadian Real Estate Advisory Services Practice. In 2004 he established urbanMetrics as a stand-alone consultancy focused on market, economic and strategic advisory services. Peter has a Master’s degree in Planning from the University of Toronto. An urbanist at heart, Peter is slowly transitioning his life to the Ontario countryside.

To develop long-range population and employment forecasts for the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region. These forecasts will be designed and developed to support integrated regional planning and infrastructure investment decisions. The forecasts will be used to develop a new regional land budget to help ensure that future growth and land use decisions allow the Region to prosper.
