About Adam

Having grown up on a grain farm near Rosenort, Manitoba, Adam has had a life-long interest in rural planning, food systems, and storytelling. In his role as a community planner with HTFC Planning and Design, Adam has worked with cities, RMs, and First Nations communities across the prairies and northern Canada on land use planning, environmental planning, historical research, tourism and economic development projects. He is the co-author of the Municipal Planning Guide to Zoning By-Laws in Manitoba, which was the recipient of a Manitoba Planning Excellence Award.

With over 50 years in practice, operating out of offices in Winnipeg and Saskatoon, HTFC Planning & Design specializes in landscape architecture, community and resource planning, economic development, urban design, and interpretive design. Their work extends across the prairies, boreal forest, arctic regions and beyond.
